All vegetarians should include in their diet this types of foods :
Soya products- They are reach in proteins, vitamins and minerals. Products include soya milk , tofu, desserts, textured vegetable protein, etc.
Bran –It can be added to many foods to add fibre and bulk without calories. Recommended intake is few teaspoons a day.
Molasses- It is what remains when sugar is processed and is reach in calcium, magnesium, iron and B vitamins.
Peas- They are very high in protein and fibre.
Olives- It is recommended that olive oil to be the only oil used in preparation of food.
Fruits, vegetables and juices- We should eat at least five portions of fruits and vegetables a day. Fruit and vegetable juices are good for those recovering from illnesses and those with poor appetite.
