I am sure that 99% of women have tried at some point in their life to follow a crash diet. Many women starve themselves hoping to lose weight quickly. Maybe they lose some weight but do no good to their health. What really happens when you starve yourself in order to lose weight? When our body doesn’t receive enough food stops to perform some of it’s functions and stores as much energy as it can in form of fat in the body. If the starvation continues for a long period of time, the body starts to use energy from our muscles to maintain it’s basic functions. So, what we loose is not weight, is muscles tissue. I would not advice anybody to follow a crash diet. The best way to loose weight is to control what to eat. Try to limit the food that contains too much fat, sugary foods and alcohol and do exercises at least three times a week. You will be surprised about the results.
